Catching Up: A Belated Blog Post on a Fun Family Shoot

Hello everyone!

I’m a bit behind on sharing some of my recent work, but I couldn’t miss the chance to reflect on one of my favorite sessions from this past season. With all the exciting shoots I've been immersed in, blogging has admittedly taken a bit of a backseat. But better late than never, right?

Let me take you back to a beautiful morning at Miramar Beach, just off 30A, where I had the pleasure of working with an absolutely wonderful family. We met up with the sun, which painted the sky with the most breathtaking hues, setting the stage for a memorable session.

This family was a joy to work with, and their two gorgeous daughters were the stars of the show. From the moment they arrived, their vibrant energy and playful spirit filled the air with fun. The girls were not just beautiful but also incredibly expressive, making it easy to capture their personalities and the love they share as a family.

The morning was filled with laughter, spontaneous moments, and genuine interactions that made for some truly special photos. Their parents were equally delightful, matching their daughters’ enthusiasm and contributing to the warm, joyful atmosphere of the shoot.

One thing that made this session particularly exciting for me was my current love affair with black and white photography. Lately, I’ve been going through a black-and-white phase where I find myself drawn to the classic elegance and timeless feel of monochrome images. So, we incorporated a few black-and-white shots into the session, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how they turned out. There’s something about the simplicity and depth of black-and-white photos that really captures the essence of the moment.

The final result was a stunning collection of art that now adorns their home. Each image reflects the beauty of the beach and the genuine connections within this family. They even put together a beautiful photo book of their session, which now rests on their coffee table, serving as a daily reminder of their fun and memorable trip to Miramar Beach.

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to capture these moments and to be a part of their family story. It was an honor to document such a beautiful experience and to help create keepsakes that they will cherish for years to come.
