SUNRISE AND BABIES! YES PLEASE
Apr 13 2026 | By: Jamie Rich Photography
There’s something about sunrise on 30A that just feels different. The world is quiet, the colors are softer, and for a little while, it feels like the beach belongs only to you. This sweet family leaned into that magic in the best way—and it made for the kind of session you just don’t forget.
We started as the sky was waking up, painted in the prettiest pastel tones—soft pinks, warm peaches, and that calm blue that stretches endlessly over the Gulf. The light was gentle, wrapping around them in the most flattering, dreamy way. It’s the kind of light photographers chase… and mornings like this are exactly why.
And then there was their baby.
Three months old, bright-eyed, and completely stealing the show.
I brought along a surfboard, which already gives such a fun, coastal vibe—but placing their tiny baby on it? Absolute perfection. He laid there so content, propped up on his little arms, looking out at the world like he already knew he belonged to the ocean. Those big eyes, that soft baby glow, and the contrast of such a tiny human on a surfboard—it was one of those moments you don’t plan, but it ends up being everything.
What I loved most about this session was how natural it felt. No stiff posing, no pressure—just a family soaking in a quiet morning together. Mom and dad holding their baby close, big brother leaning in, everyone relaxed and connected. You could feel the love in every frame.
That’s the beauty of sunrise sessions out here. The beach is peaceful, the light is unmatched, and it gives families space to just be. And when you add in a little personality—like bringing a surfboard for your 3-month-old—it turns into something completely unique to you.
These are the moments that become your favorites. The ones that feel like real life, just a little more beautiful.
If you’re visiting 30A and want something different, something calm, something that feels like you—sunrise might just be your thing. And if you’ve got a fun idea like this? Even better.
