Not everyone loves hearing this… but mini sessions just aren’t really my thing.

And it’s not because they don’t have a place—because they absolutely do. But when it comes to the experience I want to give my clients, they just don’t align.

Here’s why.

You’ve put in the effort.

You’ve picked out the outfits (which we all know is no small task), coordinated everyone, maybe even bought new clothes, scheduled hair appointments, wrangled the kids, and carved time out of your vacation or busy life. It’s an investment—of time, energy, and intention.

And after all of that… I just can’t imagine giving you 10–15 rushed minutes and calling it a day.

You deserve more than that.

When you book a full session with me, you’re not stepping into a time slot—you’re stepping into an experience. I’m not watching the clock. I’m watching you. I’m paying attention to your kids warming up, to those in-between moments, to the way you naturally connect as a family.

Because the truth is, the magic doesn’t always happen in the first five minutes.

Sometimes it takes a little time for everyone to relax. For the kids to trust me. For dad to stop thinking about being in front of the camera. For you to settle in and just be. And when that happens? That’s when the real, meaningful images come to life.

And let’s talk about light.

Light is everything in photography. And when you book with me, I’m choosing the best possible light for your session—not squeezing you into a preset schedule where the lighting might be good… or might not. I want you to have that soft, dreamy glow, the kind that makes your images feel timeless.

You also deserve my full attention.

Not shared. Not rushed. Not split between multiple families waiting in line.

Just you.

I want to guide you, adjust the little details, fix the windblown hair, chase the giggles, and capture the moments you didn’t even realize were happening. That doesn’t come from rushing—it comes from being present.

And this session right here is such a perfect example of why.

This beautiful family showed up fully prepared—and it paid off in the most stunning way. Mom’s flowing dress caught the light so effortlessly, and those little girls in their layered dresses? Absolutely adorable. The movement, the texture, the way the colors complemented the soft sunset sky… it all came together so naturally, but only because we had the time to let it.

The girls could twirl, snuggle in, and just be themselves. We weren’t rushing them through poses—we were letting their personalities shine. Dad got to relax into it, mom got to soak it in, and the result is something that feels genuine, connected, and full of life.

That’s the difference.

At the end of the day, these photos are more than just a quick update for social media. They’re the images you’ll hang in your home, the ones your kids will look back on, the memories that will only grow more valuable with time.
